I have come to this weird conclusion that fashion is like the ocean. So here are my reasons!: The ocean will never go away. It is this big blue blob that is going to stay on this earth, and nobody will take it away. This big blue blob is full of so many different species. There are the well known species, but then there will always be those unknown species. Nobody knows about them, and might not ever. The ocean is full of layers, and sections, and different climates, but some how they all come together to form one big body of water. From one perspective, it may be simple, but from another the ocean, or part of it, is so complicated. The ocean is the home to one big competition. The species all live to fight, whether they are running from other species, or running after and defeating other species. Some groups live side by side without any problems, but others are always going head to head. Fashion is an ocean. It will never go away, as long as humans keep wearing clothes, there will be fashion. In this ocean, there are still the well known "species", Gucci, Coco Chanel, Valentino, and so many more. But then there are also the unknown, girls drawing designs in their bedrooms, people designing and making clothes for themselves, tiny brands that nobody knows about. It is a competition. One fish is attacking the other, and will be until they win. All the species in this fashion ocean are part of this one big competition. Quoting project runway, "In fashion, one day you're in, and the next day, you're out."
